The waiting commences....handshakes (informal notice of assignments) are, at the earliest, about 3 weeks away. Due to W's promotion to FS-01, the consular assignment choices shrank considerably. The FS-02 list has over 50, while the FS-01 list has less than 20. W does have non-consular bids for personal interest and career variety reasons, so she may well end up doing one....we shall see. Wait......wait..............wait......
Wait a sec! We have yet to celebrate the promotion with Champers..... that's something we can do now! :-)
